Racing Against Time To Shoot An Impromptu Music Video
With just four hours' notice, we pulled off something special for Sam Drysdale's new music video, "Only the Strong Survive." Here's how we made it happen at Coin 8 Studio.
Imagine a grand piano, the centrepiece in a studio, under the warm glow of vintage lights. That's the scene we wanted for Sam's video - intimate yet powerful. Coin 8 Studio, with its adaptable space, was the perfect backdrop for our vision. From the Aputure 600x lights adding depth to the scenes, to flags and bounce boards, every piece played a role. They were all subtly visible in the background, adding an authentic behind-the-scenes vibe.
We were there to tell a story, and every shot, every light adjustment, brought us closer to that goal. The studio setup, with its unique design and visible equipment, added a layer of rawness. Producing the "Only the Strong Survive" music video was a testament to creativity under pressure. It showcased not only Sam's talent but also the collaborative spirit of everyone involved. It was a team effort through and through.
